Your first steps.

Please send reports before your first session: the last two school reports, other therapists' reports, referrals and NDIS plans.

1

Parents first

You come without your young person. We talk about their history and today.

2

Checking the fit

We check we are the right fit. If not, we suggest someone else.

3

Meeting together

Our rooms follow the Autistic SPACE framework. Rest on the Nook couch.

4

Ongoing sessions

Parents share updates first. Your young person can take breaks or time alone.

5

Review

Routine outcome measures track your goals. We review the data together.

6

A planned ending

We celebrate growth together and plan for setbacks, so new skills last.

Tracking progress.

We use data to guide your goals, and we look at it together.

  • We use short questionnaires, called routine outcome measures.
  • You fill them in online, on a secure platform called NovoPsych.
  • At the start, we agree the areas you want to focus on.
  • Along the way, we look at your charts together.
  • The data helps us see what is working, and change what is not.
  • For adults, children and teens.
