Connections WA began in April 2022 with one room in Rockingham. Today we are a psychology and allied health practice in Booragoon, Rockingham and online.

Meet Andrea.
Andrea Groom is our Principal Psychologist and Director.
She trained as a psychotherapist and counsellor in the UK. She has worked with families for 19 years since she qualified.
In 2008 she moved to Perth with her young family. She then worked with families and schools in Rockingham. In April 2022 she opened Connections WA.
Andrea is a Board-approved supervisor. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), IREM and schema therapy, and holds a certificate in interpersonal neurobiology.
Andrea also supervises and supports leaders in our community. She helps them work towards their goals and flourish. Supervision and leadership support →

Andrea co-founded and coordinates the Rockingham and Kwinana Mental Health Professionals Network. We host it.
Kennedy Bay
Over 10 years with the Kennedy Bay Community Association, as Chair, Vice President and committee member.
Rotary and Chamber
Andrea is a member of Rockingham Rotary and the local Chamber of Commerce.

Andrea was recognised as Emerging Healthcare Founder and Psychologist in Western Australia.
